We are excited to announce exciting updates to our event registration system, enhancing its functionality with the introduction of approved lists, block lists, and the new scrutiny list feature.
The traditional whitelist and blacklist have been revamped to the more intuitive approved list and block list. These lists now apply to the whole registration process, which means that once an email is added to the approved or block list, it will affect every ticket for the entire event. Additionally, any emails specified at the ticket level will take precedence over the overall settings.
Another notable addition is the scrutiny list, designed to provide an extra layer of oversight. Users on this list can register but will trigger notifications to selected admins. This feature supports both domain-wide and specific email addresses, allowing for comprehensive monitoring.
Admins can choose to be alerted when a user from the scrutiny list registers and notifications will include a direct link to the attendee’s profile on the admin console. Note that attendees on the scrutiny list will have an alert/exclamation icon next to their names for easy identification.
Admins may also delete or approve users directly from the scrutiny list. Initially, these accounts will be enabled but with restricted interactions which means no messaging or meeting bookings are allowed until full approval is granted.
These updates reflect our commitment to providing robust, user-friendly tools for managing event registration. We believe these enhancements will improve the experience for both administrators and attendees, ensuring smoother and more secure events.
