Canapii, the world’s leading event management platform, was awarded two gold medals in the start-up sector back to back. The first was the Technology Excellence in Software award from the Singapore Business Review. Shortly after, Canapii won the Best Event Tech Start-Up award at Event Tech Live 2021.
“Canapii is over the moon to have been awarded two gold medals in the start-up sector,” said Gemma Edwards, Co-Founder at Canapii. After clinching the first award, she shared the story behind the company’s journey, as well as insights on some of its success stories with prestigious clients like HP.
The Singapore Business Review awards are the region’s most distinguished awards program for technological initiatives and inventions. Their goal is to recognize extraordinary businesses that are key innovators in digitalizing the event world.

Event Tech Live is known as the world’s greatest event technology exhibition, and its start-up competition helps new companies gain notoriety in the event tech industry.
